Job Description
The Programme Manager is responsible for supporting the Programme Director and working alongside the existing Programme Manager in the development and delivery of the Leadership Development Programme, The Mandela Rhodes Foundation’s flagship offering.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the existing Programme Manager with the design of the First-Year curriculum & facilitation of workshops.
- Co-drive the operationalisation of the Mentorship Programme & Pods, in partnership with existing Programme Manager
- Drive Second Year Programme design & delivery– including relevant relationship building with partner organisations & supporting scholars with logistics and coaching them through their learning processes, with support from the existing Programme Manager
- Co-ordinate monitoring and evaluation process for the programmes
- Liaise and co-ordinate logistics and operational aspects of the programme
- Source external contributors & develop database
- Research, design and develop learning material
- Build and forge relationships with scholars
- Participate in the Search and Select processes
- Participate in organisational projects

Qualifications and Requirements
- Honours or Master’s degree preferably in related field
- Required experience: 2-3 years in a similar role
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills
- Proficiency in Design and Systems Thinking advantageous
- Proficiency in French advantageous
- Must be legally eligible to work full time in South Africa. Employment Equity Act applies.
