All Applications for loan to all students who are eligible to access the government loan for Educations purposes is done Online through the Official website of HESLB. HESLB as known is the abbreviations of the word Higher Educations Students’ Loan Board , it was started with the Aim of Assisting all eligible Tanzanian Students’ to Access loans to earn University life and their higher Educations .
The Online Loan Application and Management System (OLAMS) is Official portal for making several services about Students loan including making Loan Application ,This allow the new user to create new Account as well as registered user also able to login to check the Account Notification like Loan status. Always this loan was targeted to all form six who are eligible to join the University who have at least two “D” in either Subjects.
A part from that An applicant must be Tanzanian of aged not more than 35 years and also Orphan applicants ,Disable Applicants ,Applicant from marginalized community and Applicant with disabled parent(s) are more Considered what is needed ??? What are necessary documents used during HESLB Loan Application???
Frequently ,during Application period before HESLB Applicants to starts Application must ensure have among of the below documents which are : -
- Birth certificate certified by RITA or ZCSRA
- Death certificate to prove orphanage certified by RITA or ZCSRA
- Self-Disability Form (SDF-1) endorsed by the District Medical Officer (DMO) or Regional Medical Officer (RMO) or any designated medical expert with recognized affiliations
- Parent Disability Form (PDF-2) endorsed by the District Medical Officer (DMO) or Regional Medical Officer (RMO) or any designated medical expert with recognized affiliations
- Corporate Sponsorship Form (SCSF-3) supporting financial assistance received by applicant during pre-university/college schooling. SCSF-3 to be endorsed by applicant’s corporate sponsor
- Household vulnerability evidence endorsed by approved District Social Welfare Officer
- Retirement letter endorsed by the last employer recognized by the National Pension Scheme
- Social Support Beneficiary’s number from Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF).
How to Apply for the HESLB Loan 2024/25 ???

Step 1: Just take your Internet connected device and visit HESLB Official website
Step 2: Then, go and find the link titled as “Apply for Loan”
Step 3: After that It will display to fill your Form Four Index Number and your details will be retrieved such as your name as it appear on CSEE
Step 5: Then ,Click the “Continue”
Step 6: After that it will generate the control number to pay for your HESLB Application
Step 7: Visit to agent or use your means of payment to pay Total amount 30,000/=
Step 8: Fill all necessary blanks at the ends of form and submitte it Online then download the filled form then print it.
Step 9: Finish it by sign from the lawyer then ,
Step 10 : Submit again to post office Via EMS which almost cost 16000/=
Step 11 : Ends for HESLB Online Application just keep visiting your Account to receive your Applications status.
Step 12: Login into your HESLB Account with Username and Password created during the first stage of HESLB Application.

The rejection of the HESLB Application is always occur for those who miss some details or details doesnot match and frequently all problem cause Application to be rejected are mentioned in notification so what is needed just to fix all problems and submit it again waiting for final results.

This is issue the HESLB Application can not proceed for those who have debt to their HESLB Account so what is needed to apply again ??? The answer is Applicant must pay 25% of debt used ,After payments the Application will proceed as new Applicant.
